Brilliant - It started quietโฆ... several miles out to sea, really still water, we thought it was going to be a slow fishing day, but all of a sudden the bait worked and loads of mackerel..! It was great fun, looking forward to doing it again the next time we visit Slovenia. Thanks to Pete for helping us out. Brilliant!
In the middle of August a morning fishing experience for mackerels
Peter is an experienced captain. Was easy to communicate from the beginning , when we were planning the trip.
To reach the fishing spot took around 1h in the morning, then we spent almost 3,5h by fishing for the target mackerels.
The boat was a bit old and used, however Peter told us that his new boat is about to arrive in the next month. Even this boat was good for us for a first sea fishing experience.
We only brought drinks, sun milk, and joy, all the rest (rods, baits etc) was provided by Captain.
