We rescheduled the outing for later in the afternoon at the Captains recommendation due to winds. We hit four different spots but only landed seven fish, one of which was a keeper. I understand fishing the flats is not as lucrative as offshore, but was expecting more fish to be on. I did enjoy the time on the water and the Captain was friendly, I just wanted more fish. Next time I will spend the extra money and go offshore. No more flats for me. If you have younger children, this would probably be the perfect trip. You can always see land so less worry of sea sickness and smaller fish available for the younger ones to reel in.

Beautiful day. Fish warre not a cooperative as hoped. That is part of the mystery and lure (pun intended) of fishing. Tarpon were less than slow. Captain Tom put us on some grooper. Catch and release. The action was enjoyable. Grooper got fed. A good day. Captain Tom is an experienced captain. Always go with experience. Thank you Tom.

Excellent Captain and familar with the Tampabay area. We worked the channel for grouper and caught lots but were undersized for keepers. We had an enjoyable trip and fun spending the morning fishing. Highly recommend Captain Tom as an experienced guide.
