I have lived and fished in Florida for so many years. Flounder gigging by far is the most fun I have ever had. I’m ready to toss my rod and reel to the side because stabbing fish is way more fun and productive. Captian Vinny put us on the fish! I am hooked for life. We could believe how many fish we could see with his under water lights. It was like looking at an aquarium full of sheep head, snook, red fish, dolphins and flounder. Mullet were jumping in the boat. I am hooked for life.

The captain call us and told us water temperature and ties were not good for fishing.  I really appreciate the him being up front about the condition.  The captain tried really hard to make some other dates work for us.  Just on that note I would book another trip with him in a heart beat.

Hands down one of the best fishing charters we’ve been on to date. Captain Vincent quickly got our family of four out to a great area, and then right away we were getting fat sheepsheads on gigs. Our two teens had a blast with those gigs. Then we tried the bows.  It was our first time bow fishing, and the Captain patiently showed us how to use everything. Before long we were we getting more fish!! Came home with SO many fish!

We saw a trio of dolphins (two adults and a juvenile) that came up to the boat and then lazily followed us for awhile. We had calm, clear water and with the high power boat lights we saw all the underwater nighttime activity. Very beautiful experience, seeing the snooks, rays, snappers, drums, needlefish, barracudas, tiny bioluminescent jellyfish, mullet, ladyfish and more. Highly recommend!

My 16 year old son and I decided to do something different for his birthday and this night adventure fit the bill. The captain was patient and worked with us as we improved our skills. We caught a dozen or so fish and missed about half a dozen or more as we were improving our technique. We saw lots of sea turtles, starfish, and mullet. We ran across rays, tarpon, snook, redfish, big gar, some black drum, a few crabs and saw a lobster.

Even though it was windy in spots, the captain navigated to areas we could have better water clarity and we caught sheepshead, mullet, and a nice size flounder.  He was great about explaining where we would go, what we would do and worked with us on how to properly gig.  He also took the time to explain the area and some of the facts about the region and fish (e.g. seasonal fish, habitat, size limits, insects, creeks, etc).

On our return, we experienced a wind storm and got pretty wet, but we didn’t mind a bit and he made sure to get us back safe and sound. We wouldn’t hesitate doing this trip again.

Best inshore trip to date. Capt Vinny is top notch, local, and down to earth.  Accommodated 5 of us with ease.  Vinny’s set up and plan was most effective between the river and the inlet.  We started with the spears and eventually graduated to the bows.  Totally amazed with the how and where to go and find these fish.  Also a incredible broad species of life in the river that should not be taken for granted.  We saw small sea turtles, dolphin, snook, trout, Bonnet shark, blow fish, star fish, mangrove snapper, sting ray, flounder, and brought a cooler full of Sheepshead home. Actually it’s handle broke getting it home. LOL. Totally worthwhile adventure when you can make memories and bring home meat. Without a doubt a trip to book again and again. Thanks Vinny
