Captain Ben was professional and courteous! He worked diligently to navigate to successful drifts and gave us countless opportunities to reel in our catch! His passion for fishing shows! We caught Striped Bass, Porgy and Bluefish. When we visit Montauk again, heโs the captain weโre going to call!

Ben from Montauk to head offshore in search of bluefin tuna.ย When we arrived at the spot for first light, the area was full of whales, porpoises, and birds everywhere.ย It was clear that there was a lot of life around and we were excited about the prospect of catching some fish.ย After trolling for a while with no luck, and watching a couple other boats in the area also catch no fish, Capt Ben suggested that we try dropping the diamond jig on some of the areas we were marking fish on the bottom.ย Just like that, we started hooking up to bluefin on what seemed like every drift.ย We caught many fish up to nearly 100# and were clearly the most successful boat in the area that day.ย While other boats were drifting near us with no hook ups, Capt Ben managed to keep us on the exact drift that was producing bite after bite.ย After we decided to head home with our limit of fish, Ben called in another captain and explained the drift.ย As we were pulling away, we watched him hook up to his first fish of the day.ย Clearly Capt. Ben is dialed in and a one of a kind captain.ย On the way home, we stopped and caught a few mahi mahi just to make an epic day even better.

The trip was amazing first try at location was no luck went little further deep and soon as we dropped the bait and brought the boat to slow 2 tuna hooked up fast after that non stop tuna we were scrambling to each rod first time tuna fishing and I was amazed the friendliness of crew and captain was amazing we did not come back empty handed at all I am booking this crew over and over again
Originally were scheduled for a Friday night trip for stripe bass with live eel. Unfortunately hurricane or tropical storm decided otherwise , but Captain Ben was able to reschedule us for a follow up trip . Very professional, very friendly , went above and beyond even stayed out despite swells and wind bouncing our boat around cuz he knew we wanted to fish. Highly recommend them
