Booked this trip for my husband and brother-in-law (who are avid fishermen) when we visited Galveston.ย Captain worked hard to put them on fish (& keep them on fish).ย They noticed that other boats were following the captain - always a sign that this captain knows how to find fish.ย Had tons of fun & caught lots of fish (limited out).ย The guys said it was the best fishing they had ever done.ย Will book again when we return to Galveston!
Had a terrific experience with Captain Eric! We initially booked an afternoon trip, however Captain Eric called the day before to inform us that the afternoon bite had been slow, and recommended going in the morning if possible. He was very flexible and happy to accommodate us. The morning of the trip, he was prepared and ready to go, and quickly got us into some flounder. After filling the cooler with dinner, we changed spots to target bigger redfish. Despite the fact that other captains were going to multiple spots and not finding any redfish, we quickly got two bites and ended landing a monster 41.5 inch bull! Finished the day out with a nice black drum and headed in, where Captain Eric expertly filleted our catch. Couldnโt recommend Line Check Charters highly enough, and will definitely be coming back for more trips in the summer.

My father, my 7 year old and I went out with Eric and Amanda - they were absolutely fantastic. They were both super patient with my 7 year old and took the time to teach him a few things. By the end of the trip, he was setting hooks and reeling in flounder basically by himself. In addition to taking care of everything we needed, they put us right on the fish, even on a day that was choppy and muddy. Two 25+ lb redfish, smaller catfish and trout galore, and to top it off, catch and release flounder fishing galore. Highly recommended.

This was my sonโs first time out salt water fishing and the guys at Line Check really made it a trip he will never forget. Captain Eric really put us on the fish. In fact within a few hours we hit our limit. Captain Michael was very helpful with all of our questions and responded very quickly. I would highly recommend you give Line Check a chance to make a great fishing trip for you, your family or friends. Kudos to both Captain Michael and Captain Eric! I will be re-booking at my next opportunity.
We were really looking forward to this fishing trip and Captain Eric did not disappoint.ย He knew where to fish and what bate to use, which resulted in us pulling in some enormous fish.ย My 8 & 10 year old boys really liked him and he made the experience for them amazing.ย 5 stars!!!
