This trip was a fantastic experience with Captain Jarrod and Mate Braden.ย We had a 6-hour morning in early July, and the sunrise was gorgeous as we headed out.ย The crew was friendly, casual, knowledgeable, and flexible.ย They were professional and supportive as they ensured we had a great time fishing on Lake Michigan out of Grand Haven.ย My 15-year-old son was excited to reel in lake trout and king salmon.ย We learned a ton as this was our first chartered fishing trip in Lake Michigan.ย Weโve chartered in other parts of the country, but this one ranks high due to crew, lake, fish, and fun.

What an amazing fishing experience we had! As fishermen with no experience, we were worried that we would struggle or be underprepared! Brett and Jarrod made us feel absolutely comfortable and in control of our experience. Both captains were checking with other fisherman on the lake to get a better understanding of where the fish were biting (but they already knew!) and it worked! We walked away with 9 Lake Trout (including a 20lb monster), a large Steelhead trout, and one beautiful Coho Salmon! Absolutely recommend this trip with this crew! We already canโt wait to plan a second trip in the future!

We had a glorious day for fishing with a nice breeze, ample sunshine.ย The captain and first mate were superb in setting lines and worked hard to find us fish. We had up to 13 lines in the water at various depths.ย On a day when many others came up empty we had several exciting catches.ย The crew was super friendly and fun to spend a day on the water with.ย We had a fantastic family time.ย Highly recommend Captain Brett and his crew.ย I was impressed with the comrade ride of the local charters- they shared knowledge of what was biting and where to increase the success of anyone fishing out of Grand Haven.ย Many thanks to Captain Brett and Captain Jarred!ย We ate Salmon, Stealhead, and lake trout for many dinners!

Brett and mate Kyle were exceptionally great. They spent the morning working random depth and changing colors till they found one that got bit. We had 4 Nice fish on the boat ,we had a great morning of fishing beautiful calm water nice equipment and a nice boat.
