My husband and I had the best time with David! He was so knowledgeable and we learned a ton about Lake Erie and walleye. David taught us what to do and helped us do it all along the way. We had slow times but he made sure to try everything he could to get the fish to bite. We caught our limit and some bonus fish! We absolutely recommend going out with Black H2o Dog! Super nice guy and great fishing! We will definitely be going out with David again!

I set this trip up about a week in advance .ย Capitan Dave was amazing walked me through where to go to get our fishing license, when to get them and answered question I had !ย Dave was super super helpful on the boat .ย My husband and his friend were knowledgeable about the trolling method and rigs but then you had me lots of questions and no experience!ย He never wavered in his eagerness to help us find the fish and bring them in! And let the boys be as hands on as possible!ย ย We caught our limit and spent a little extra time on Lake Erie enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.ย Thank you again Dave for making this a birthday surprise to remember !

Our trip with Captain David Faller was excellent, actually beyond excellent.ย David not only provided the charter, he taught us the basics of walleye fishing.ย He is extremely knowledgeable of Lake Erie and enabled us to catch our limit.ย He was very patient of us โrookiesโ and made sure we had the best experience possible.ย I learned more about fishing during this charter than in all the years Iโve fished.ย His service is the best.ย I canโt even imagine anybody topping him.ย I definitely recommend BLACKH2oDOG charters for a great experience.ย We will definitely book other charters in the future, once the 85lbs of fish we yielded is gone.

We enjoyed our time with Captain David. How fun it was to learn we had more in common than a love for fishing. But thatโs another story. The day was beautiful but the lake was a little choppy while drifting. This led to some seasickness for me. Had to head back to dry land sooner than desired but thankfully, hubs was able to bring home some yummy walleye and enjoy good conversation. He even learned some things from the master - Captain David. Highly recommend BlackH2oDog Charters LLC.ย Next time a little medication for me and hopefully a little longer on the lake.
