After tons of research on fishbooker, we booked Capt Jace with JT Fishing for a 1st week of January 1/2 day fishing trip on the flats to try for red fish.  Capt Jace was excellent with communication and let us know that the fishing and tide conditions were not going to be favorable.  He was very flexible on working with us to find the best day and time, and ultimately left it up to us if we were going to risk it.  It was a cold, windy day on the water with low tides, but Capt Jace picked us up and took us out.  Within the first hour we landed a 32in red fish.  The fishing was interrupted by birds and dolphins in the fishing grounds, but my family enjoyed seeing the wildlife… like the best ever dolphin encounter.  He took us to a few more spots and we had a few more bites and caught another small red fish.  Overall the trip was very enjoyable given the less than ideal conditions and Capt Jace worked his butt off to make it a great trip.  A few other charters that left on the same day and location caught nothing. Capt Jace has an excellent knowledge of where the fish are since he grew up fishing these grounds. He is extremely well prepared, he gives 110% to satisfy the client and he is very professional.  I highly recommend you consider booking with JT Fishing.

Jace went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our day on the water.  We stayed at the Fairfield Inn, which was a short, less than 5 minute,  walk to the dock to meet him.  He communicated great before the trip and was so easy going it made us much more relaxed. He explained the areas we were fishing and did all the work, except reeling the fish in. My mom is still complaining that her arm hurts from catching so many fish! He made this “girls trip” one to remember! We may bring the guys back next time,  or enjoy it again solo! Thank you Captain Jace!

Captain Jace took us out and put us on a honey whole spot for fish. My wife and I caught fish non stop for 4 hours. We realized we need to learn our salt water fish species, we caught dozens and dozens of species we had never caught before, it was a blast and we are already planning our next trip. But next time 6 hrs trip.
