Flexible start time, flexible fishing styles, good time management to maximize our fishing efforts. Good job fellas!
Thanks Ro! See you next year!!
We had an excellent half day trip. Understanding that it isn’t a good fishing season, we didn’t set out with high expectations. However, all participants that held a rod ended up catching fish. Jose and Johnny were excellent, informative and friendly. Would definitely go out with them again. The only critical thing I would say is that the listing says Playa del Carmen as location, but after booking, we found out that the location was in Puerto Aventuras. We just wish we knew that information when booking.

Thanks for your comments See you soon on next trip
We had a great trip with Capt Randy aboard the 35’ wellcraft. The boat handled the 3’ waves with no issue. Great location for fishing as you dont have to go far to get to a good drop off. Fishing was good and everyone caught at least one Mahi mahi. The crew kept the lines clear of weeds and bait was replaced often. The crew worked hard to put fish in the boat. Caribe spoke very good English and helped everyone to land there fish. At the end of the day they made a delicious ceviche from our catch while we swam in a calm sheltered spot. They also provided other snacks and drinks as well. As an added bonus they aranged private transportation to and from their location for a seperate fee. All in all a great day! Thanks guys!

See you soon Ben!
I really wanted to be able to give a better review, but here is an honest review… We booked a 6 hour trip about 3 days before we went out. The communication leading up to the trip was okay - no issues, but lacked anything special——and that turned out to be the case for the entire trip. Upon arrival, we paid for the balance of the trip and loaded the boat with Miguel and David (David captained the boat and Miguel led on the fishing). It bugged me that neither Miguel nor David made any effort to even talk with my wife and kids (I speak Spanish and they talked to me but I would’ve liked to have had them make an effort to talk with the family) The boat and equipment were good - nothing spectacular, but good, which is what we expected. There’s shade on the boat and a bathroom, which was important for my wife and teenage daughters. We got to play our own music on the stereo. The first half of the trip we spent trolling, less than a mile offshore - people should understand that this is not an “off-shore” trip. The crew continued with the trolling technique for over 2 hours, without a single fish and really only changing techniques on one of the five lines in the water. At that point, we headed to a popular snorkeling location, which was crowded but fun. The crew provided us with equipment that was good, not great. After snorkeling, we got back on the boat and enjoyed some guacamole and chips and pineapple. They also provided drinks - water, soda and beer. We got back to fishing with about 2 hours remaining in the trip. Miguel only put 4 lines back in the water (which seemed odd to me, given that he was all set up for 5 rods) and we proceeded to troll again. About 45 minutes later we hooked up with two fish at the same time, but lost one of them. We ended up landing a nice Sail Fish, fun fish to bring in! Miguel was great at handling it and we got a good picture with it with the whole family, all 6 of us. We returned to trolling for another hour without any additional action, and it definitely felt like he was just going through the motions. We returned to dock and that was it. Again, it was a solid “okay” day - nothing spectacular and thank goodness we caught the one fish. I’d recommend that others reach out and communicate with several outfits before picking this trip. For the money, I hoped for a better experience both from a fishing and overall “engagement” perspective.

Thank you for your comments, they are always good to be able to improve the day-to-day work of our employees!
Had a great time on the water with the crew. It was a gorgeous day with very little waves. I caught my first Amber Jack during bottom fishing. We didn’t get anything trolling but that is fishing. I enjoyed them making fresh Ceviche right on the boat, nothing like eating fresh fish. The crew was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and cool to hang out with. This is a well maintained boat, very clean. I would jump back on this tour again. Good times!
Thanks!! See you soon on next trip!!
