Captain Scott knew exactly where to take us for ling cod We limited out in a few hours Then he took us to see the seals and feed eagles Honestly a great day
Short version: If Scott is available for the day(s) you want, stop looking and book him. Longer version: Scott is one of those guys who loves his job. He is constantly working to make sure you have a great experience. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, skilled at what he does, and just fun to hang out with on the boat. We had to tell him to stop because we had enough fish for the couple of meals we wanted, plus a bit more. We did not want to keep catching fish unless we could eat them. But Scott could have kept us catching indefinitely, I am sure.
So if you are in the Tofino/Ucluelet area, and you want to go fishing for Coho, Chinook, Halibut, Rock fish, or Ling Cod, and Scott is available, book him now before someone else does. You wont regret it.

Capt. Scott could not have done a better job taking my wife (first time ocean fishing) and me out today. My wife reeled in some beautiful Coho as Scott talked her through handling the rod to bring the salmon in to the boat. Scott was great at instructing me too on my open reel line release as I played a beautiful 18 pound Chinook into the boat after it ran 250 yards of line off the reel. Capt. Scoot worked the boat beautifully on a windy day with three lines in the water as we worked schools of Needlefish on the leeward side of an island and hit salmon in the 17 to 40 foot depths. It was a great experience and a memory for us to cherish for the rest of our lives. Thanks Capt. Scott. **hidden content**

We were a party of 7 fishing for Salmon and the boat was perfect for us.ย Great equipment, ample room and comfortable.ย Captain Scott was friendly, professional and fun.ย Everyone was able to catch a few fish. We were only looking to catch enough for dinner so we released most of them.ย On the way back in as the captain was cleaning the fish he tossed the carcasses to some very skillful Bald eagles as they swooped in.ย Not gonna lie, as we donโt see Bald eagles in Southern California that was kind of the highlight of the trip.
I would definitely sail with Captain Scott again.
