This was my nieces first offshore fishing trip, i had told Capt. Louis this he went out of his way to make it a great first trip for them. the 1st mate (Eddie) was first rate very hard working and nice to the girls. plenty of food and drinks on board. after we docked i asked capt. if he would filet our catch and recommend a local restaurant. He did that and more he walked us to the Taxi and told the driver where to take us. the Restaurant was perfect. GREAT TRIP
Ready to go as soon as we got there, friendly hard working crew, knowledgable of local conditions and techniques, captain was helpful and focused, vessel and accoutrements in great condition, reasonably good success in less than pristine conditions. Want to go back in April when the big fish are migrating. Would definitely use Luis again.
We really appreciate you taking time to post a FishingBooker review for us and it is a very nice review, so thank you again for that. Regards
The captain and crew were friendly and helpful. The boat is immaculate and pretty up-to-date. The weather was great but the bite was slow. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching! We would go back fishing with him again if we’re in the area.
Had a great time, Capt Luis and Chucky were great, even gave us an extra free hour. Only 2 bites, one catch (8lb Mahi Mahi) that’s fishing…
Our first impression was poor, no coffee, no water, no snacks (the entire trip) The crew knew how to fish however they were not friendly at all and corrected our 4 person party all day in a rude way. They thought we did not speak Spanish but we did and kept that our secret. They talked about us all day with rude comments we kept to ourselves. We hooked up on a 10’-4” Blue Marlin so that made things much better! BUT they constantly corrected us when we were dead tired taking turns reeling in for 4 hours. They charged us for an additional hour and we were fine with that but when we came to dock , they would not help us with the fish and seemed to want the trophy fish for themselves. We all had a good day dispite the crew only because of our enormous catch. I do not recommend this crew if you want to have a good time or have any service, drinks or snacks. We were lucky hooking up with a trophy fish in September, so who knows… You may get lucky too :-)

We are very sorry that you feel the need to give us a bad review after the monumental feat of catching a 350-pound Marlin that resulted from a four-hour battle with an unprecedented 20-pound weight line. Let me comment on the issues as they are addressed in your complaint to Fishing Booker. We are a fishing charter, we stock the boat with a refrigerator full of beverages and chips. (Upon the arrival of your party, two of the ladies were served water. This was before the mate’s hand were dirtied by fish bait and before everyone got busy catching the fish. The beverages and chips are there for our customers to help themselves. We do not serve coffee, however, any beverages or snack can be requested at the time that you book your trip. We spent four hours catching the record Marlin. During this time the Captain was driving, the ship mate or guide was assisting with the fishing, as is their job. There is no one assigned to serving beverages and snacks, the two employees were working on making the catch possible. We are sorry if you were offended by the repeated instructions on handling the equipment properly. You were handling the equipment in a manner that could easily have damaged or lost it. Our instruction in English were being ignored. Perhaps had you not kept the fact that you spoke Spanish a secret, we might have had better luck communicating in Spanish. We apologize if we offended you, however, it was very frustrating being ignored. It was fortunate that the equipment and line were both brand new and held up under the misuse and extreme weight. It is sad that you did not speak to us of your concerns at the time, instead chose this venue to voice your displeasure.
