The only negative was the weather. We knew this going into the full day trip however. We have no problem recommending this charter. Mario and Sam are hard working fishermen. I am a very experienced angler and these two worked their butts off to put us on fish on and rainy and windy day. We started by catching Barracuda right at the start. The water was so choppy that it really held us up with some of the bigger bite. We worked hard jigging and had some great bites, but again the weather was just too much here. They changed gears to get us on a different path and we caught Tuna and ended the day catching Spanish Mackerel.  Mario even picked us up and dropped us off at our resort as it was on his way to and from the Marina. Sensational service from these two. Don’t let their lower price detour you from booking them. You get the service and experience of the more expensive charters.

We just returned from a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Mario. We have a 12 year old who is crazy about fishing but not very experienced. Mario was great with him. Very patient and made his whole trip with the Golu Fishing cap! He won’t take it off.

This was a lagoon trip and we caught many fish… barracuda, snapper and jack. Our son is so excited to show off all the photos when we get home. Next trip we will definitely be calling Mario and Golu Fishing. They are great. See you guys next year!

We had an amazing experience with captain Mario and his first mate. While looking to book the excursion about a month ago he replied to questions I had within the same day. He was very helpful. He also gave good instructions on where to meet him. There was complementary chips and drinks including some beer! He let us choose what types of fishing we wanted to do and we did some top water fishing, bottom fishing, and trolling. Mario and his first mate were very friendly and helpful. They made the trip very enjoyable!! I definitely recommend going through this company if you are looking for any type of fishing experience! Thank you Captain Mario!

We had a great experience with Mario.  The day wasn’t great for fishing by Mario did his best to make sure we were safe and comfortable.  We were able to catch some small fish in the lagoon and a nice snapper bottom fishing.  Mario did his best to find us fish.  We also went for a boat ride, swim, and had other fun inshore when it was really choppy in the deep.  We had a great time.  Would recommend for families.  Tip, ask Mario about his magic and his special tongue trip.  Our only complaint is that Mario wasn’t available more days during our trip.

Awesome time today with captain Mario! We caught 7 different species of fish in our 4 hour trip. Captain Mario made my time with my son a phenomenal experience! Highly recommend him and team! Look forward to catching up next time!
