I booked a shared half day charter short notice with cowboy, just the night before we headed out. My 15-year-old son and I had the best day on the water. These guys know their stuff, expert knowledge and handling of everything. Very friendly and great teachers, everything with a smile. We caught a 25 pound blackfin tuna among other things! Did a lot of looking before we booked, it’s always hard to know who to pick out of all the charters out there. you should not hesitate to book these guys! Ask for Jesse and Bobby

They had us on as much action as they could find and we weren’t left disappointed. Shoutout to captain John and his first mate Neely. I would highly advise thier 6 hour charter if it’s your first one. Good mix of fishing and cruising

I booked a full day outing for a 4 day trip to Key West. The day I was scheduled, we got a storm, so no boats went out. I was super bummed, but after a call to the owner’s wife, she was super accommodating and despite the fact that everyone’s trip got canceled and they were trying to reschedule, plus the trips that were scheduled for the following day, she got me a spot on a boat. It was only a half day, but I figured better than no fishing. Changing to the half day price happened with absolutely no issue either.
No reminding, no arguing,  it was just done. When I arrived, the crew was super cool- very personable, insanely hard workers, and knew their jobs well. I always like to do longer trips, but we got a ton of fishibg done in that half day. The boat pulled in some mackerel, some yellowtails, two mutten, five barracuda, and a six foot hammerhead that we fought until it came off near the boat. The boat was nice, clean, and well equipped. Absolutely no hesitation about booking with these guys on my next trip.

We had a great time with Captain John on our half day private charter. There was an issue with Cowboy the night before we were scheduled to go, but they were able to get us on the Knotty Cowgirl instead. It was a great boat and we really enjoyed having Captain John at the helm!  He is extremely seasoned and we really trusted him. We caught some yellowtail first to use as live bait and he got us on the fish as soon as we reached the wreck. Unfortunately, one of the passengers in our group ended up being sea sick and Captain John did his absolute best to keep him as comfortable as possible. He was genuinely concerned about him. I will definitely be back out on the water with Cowboy Charters!

Such an awesome experience fishing in Key West today! Captain Rick & First Mate John made this trip amazing for me and my wife! First time out fishing on a charter for my wife & this trip was perfect! Felt like the fish were jumping in our boat today! John was super fast and ensured we didn’t miss any action on our rods. John & Rick were knowledgeable and taught her and I the names of every catch and also the best way to cook them! Once back at the dock they cut up our catch, made separate filets and even recommended their favorite local restaurants to take our catch to for dinner! I will highly recommend this charter! I will be passing on their contact to my buddies for their next Key West fishing trip.
