Overall the trip was great!!! Although fish werenโt biting great we all still caught at least one fish (Captain Lucas hooked one and let our little one reel it in). We have an 8year old daughter who wasnโt super interested in fishing but was very inquisitive about the bait (mud minnows) and Captain Lucas answered every question she had and kept her entertained while the rest of us fished. He was quick to resolve any issues/snags we had and moved us to several areas to try and catch fish. We did catch one regulation size flounder that he fillet out and cleaned up for us to bring home. We would recommend Captain Lucas, especially if youโll be taking any kiddos, he was absolutely amazing with our daughter who asked questions for 4 hours straight.

I took my 4 kids fishing with Captain Lucas and he was great!ย We stayed in shore, unfortunately it was a stormy day that cut our trip short due to lightning. I felt like Captain Lucas worked hard to put us in the best spots for success. He was constantly on the radio and phone trying to find better spots, but nobody was catching fish that afternoon.ย Despite our disappointment, I would highly recommend Captain Lucas and definitely will call him next time we need a charter!ย We were given a credit on our final payment due to it being cut short, which I was not expecting, but very grateful for.

Took my daughter out for our first ever charter & it was great! Captain Lucas was friendly & knowledgeable. Better than we expected and we caught fish immediately. The smile on my kidโs face was so worth it. We will definitely do this again. Captain Lucas cleaned and bagged our catch. I would highly recommend this charter and Captain Lucas.

By far one of the coolest experiences on our week long trip to Myrtle beach! The water spout showing up was a bonus FOR SURE!! Although we didnโt catch as many as everyone would have liked, we had a blast! We did catch fish and enjoyed the experience! Captain Lucas is extremely knowledgeable and very good at his job. He took time to bait our lines when needed, move spots to follow the fish & tide, and showed patience with our younger anglers. The very clean boat is beautiful and tackle is top-notch! I look forward to fishing with him again, next time- Iโd love to go further and deeper for bigger fish. Thatโs the ultimate experience I hear! Once again, thanks for everything!!
