Sometimes you catch and sometimes you donโtโฆthatโs fishing. But when your captain shows up late, with no good live bait, a dirty boat, and you fish the Marina 2 out of the 3 hours, itโs hard to feel like you got your moneyโs worth.
Hicham I apologize for you feeling like you did not get your monies worthโฆ.. as far as fishing by the Marina thatโs where the fish were โฆโฆ live bait was scarce that day and we went looking for good fresh bait right before the trip started that is why there was some grassy debris on the deck and he arrived a few minutes late โฆ. That is part of catching live baitโฆ. (That time was provided on the back end of the trip)โฆ. We strive and work hard for every customer equallyโฆ. I again apologize for you not feeling like you got your moneyโs worth. Tarpon fishing is a trophy hunt where your success rate is not nearly as high as other types of fishing we do here in the keys โฆ.. Planned a trip to Islamorada around this and he wouldnโt even go where the fish were. All of the other captains went out but he said it was too rough. Certainly didnโt mind charging full price though.
Todd I am sorry you feel that way โฆ.. bear in mind you chartered a 24 bay boat so yes there may have been a lot larger vessels that could go out in the Atlanticโฆ.. the evening before your trip I told you we could not fish on the Atlantic side because of weather and offered to cancel trip or gave you the option to fish on the Gulf side you chose to fish instead of Cancelโฆ.. I always always put safety ahead of everythingโฆ. I also recollect you caught quite a bit of fish you just did not catch any keeper sized fish which I also told you ahead of time that on the Gulfside keepers are few and far betweenโฆ. Again I am sorry you felt short changed but I take the safety of my customers very very seriouslyโฆ. Have a wonderful New Year !
