Fabulous trip. We are two couples who had never sea fished before, and we would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have go at fishing and have a really great experience. Micki and Neil were great, really knowledgeable, explained everything to us and made us feel confident.
We got our first strike just out of the harbour which took us all by surprise and by the end of the trip we had landed 7 skipjack tuna out of 10. All four of us successfully landed fish and were competitive as to who’s was the biggest and the size of those that got away!!
Aside from fishing Micki and Neil were great hosts and explained lots about the ocean and sea life of Madeira, also of the volcanic structure of the island and the underwater environment.
Thoroughly enjoyed our day and will be bringing friends and family to fish with Micki and Neil when we come back to Madeira.

Great afternoon but no fish

Had a very pleasant morning off Calheta, Madeira. Neil and Mickey tried to put me on some fish, but sometimes they just aren’t having it! We caught a few small Red Snapper and Grouper/Comber. Husband and wife team are very knowledgeable and are great company.  They took us to a restaurant in the marina which grilled one of our snapper for us and it was excellent.
