Captain Forrest and first mate Ben took us to a great spot.  For a solid 2 hours, it seemed that almost every time we dropped our hook in the water, tapped bottom and pulled up a little bit, we got a halibut or a cod. My wife and I spent a great day with Captain Forrest and deck hand Ben. They were helpful, professional, friendly and always ready to assist by anticipating all the moves needed to help us bring in our catch. They put us on fish early and moved as needed to find the bite. I highly recommend Captain Forrest to anyone looking for a wonderful day fishing out of Homer.

Our half day fishing with Captain Forrest was amazing! We caught all the halibut we could and several other fish. His boat was super clean and comfortable for my family of 6. Captain Forrest and Ben were both really helpful and worked really well with us and our kids. We would definitely book another trip with Captain Forrest!

We had two separate days booked with Capt. Forrest on the Black Pearl. One day for salmon and the second trip for halibut, both days were fantastic. Forrest and Ben work hard and provide a great experience. Equipment is good and would not hesitate to recommend Cpt. Forrest for any trip. First class operation.

Capt Forrest and Deckhand Ben were absolutely spectacular. They put us on fish late in the season and the boat was too notch. We loaded the boat with Halibut…. truly a trip to remember. Being a Captain myself, I know what it takes to run a boat, and Forrest is top notch!!!
