My family and I had an amazing time with Captain Alex Hensley at Intentional Fishing! Even in strong wind and choppy water, Captain Alex helped us score great catches for the day. We were pulling in Bonito left and right all morning! Captain Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, teaching us all about the fish we were catching and even explaining best ways to prepare the fish to cook later. Captain Alex was also great with my middle school aged nephew! I can’t recommend Intentional Fishing enough. Perfect for families, friends or just anyone who wants to have a great, successful day of fishing out on the water. It was an amazing day and an experience my family will remember :)

Intentional Fishing / Captain Alex is a first rate charter. Capt. Alex was awesome. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable in his craft, and just an all around great guy. The fishing equipment is top notch. The boat is crazy awesome and fast. Location of marina is very easy to find and get to. Hands down the best time I’ve had on the water in a long time. Everything about the trip was a blast. Yes, Capt. Alex put us on the fish quickly, and we caught some. But the best part of it all was just making a new friend with Capt. Alex.
I highly recommend Intentional Fishing for your next fishing adventure. You won’t be disappointed.

Captain Alex took myself, my wife and my two oldest kids out to target Red Snapper today in the Gulf and wow… what a fantastic guide!  He was so good with the kids, made sure they were entertained and well taken care of the whole time.  He was diligent in finding the perfect spots to put us on some really nice fish.  We had a great day and will most certainly be using Intentional Fishing for future fishing adventures!

For a trip the morning after the full moon (typically bad fishing), he put us on the fish. There were many others than what were in the pics. Gear was great. Boat was nice and clean. Alex was very knowledgeable, patient and worked hard to keep everyone fishing.

Alex is an excellent captain …started our experience focusing on safety and understanding the plan for the day …several ways to fish in the area. Alex is a very confident, knowledgeable, and a genuinely friendly host. He shared is expertise for those not so familiar …demonstrating his patience and desire to fulfill a memorable experience for all. We caught numerous fish which he cleaned for us and even suggested cooking methods as well. I highly recommend Alex plus his boat is very clean and well organized… unusual for many of these chartered boats !
