Totally professionally run show would recommend it to any one thinking of fishing Vanuatu Our main game was for mate to catch a marlin on his birthday and NAMBAS crew Delivered

On xmas eve we ventured out on a 4hr trip hoping to catch something memorable for xmas dinner, the fish were not co operating, it looked as if we were just having salad for dinner, but Russ with all his experience and backed by a great crew with Laura and Lani managed to hook me up with a Blue Marlin, estimated weight of 212 kg, it was a fish i never dreamed of catching, Russ and his crew made the adventure thoroughly enjoyable and lots of fun, Thanks for an awesome experience

We arrived in Port Vila the morning of Feb. 6th to start an eight day live aboard fishing adventure down to Santo and the surrounding islands…cannot say enough about Capt. Russ, Laura, Shawn, and Lonny….great captain…explained everything in great detail and simple enough for even farmers from the states to understand…Lol….boat was very clean and spacious…..food was outstanding with Russ grilling out on the deck every night….Lonny and Laura were very professional on the deck….making sure landing the fish was safe and they properly taken care of…...Laura was a pleasure to be around and is a great asset to the boat for women who love to fish…..hope to return next year for another trip of a life time.

Where to even start….
From the moment I arrived at the airport I was greeted by “Russ” the skipper !
We talked about a game plan in the car on the way back to our accomodation at the wahoo fishing lodge for the next day .
Day 1, jigging mania , tried a lot of new styles and areas to jig and in no time it was game on.
Countless fish , From Dogtooth tuna , Almaco jacks , coral trouts , GT’s , rusty jobfish the list really goes on. And make sure you HOLD ON !
From spot to spot we would put the trolling gear out and in again in no time , BIG WAHOO! and even got a really nice black Marlin that went nuts !
Got my very first yellowfin tuna weighing in at close to 50kg !
The variety of fish here is amazing endless species !
I have done this trip a few times now with Russ on nambas fishing charters and highly highly recommend it for anyone travelling to Vanuatu !

Great day out on the water, the fish played the game well. Skipper and crew very professional and great to deal with. Have already recommended to friends.  The only negatives were that the teenage girls out-fished the parents and that the 13 year old daughter caught a Marlin and won’t shut up about it! (next time the kids can stay at home and the parents will fish!)
