Fishing day with Jesse was among my finest salt water experiences ever — and I am not young.  Jesse is smart, witty, friendly, and knows where to catch every Spotted Sea Trout and Redfish around Amelia Island.  He is simply the best.

Even though the day was just after the full moon and a cold front, Capt Jesse found fish!  Had a mixed bag of drum, reds, trout, and even got a flounder to come play.  My second time out with him and will be booking with him again!

Had a great trip with my son. Fish catching started off slow but picked up and we caught red fish, speckled trout, black drum, and snapper. Jesse is an excellent captain, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. You will not regret going with him.

Today was a great day!
Captain Jesse is a fun and funny story teller whose family history goes way back. He is knowledgeable about all the backwaters and their history. He knows where the fish are. And he was right there to help each one of us with whatever we needed! Even when we caught a rock, a pipe, or a shell :)
We even seen a small shark attack the remains of our cleaned fish.
Oh! And we seen wild horses!
The only thing I would change is having a bigger umbrella - it’s hot out there!

The captain was very knowledgeable of the history of Fernandina as well as the best fishing spots. Captain Jesse was great with the kids and made sure we all had a great time and caught a lot of fish.
