What a great morning of fishing! Captain Joe and first mate Sam were the sunshine on a foggy, misty morning! Our first fishing charter, and it was ALL about fishing, and they were biting! So much fun! Captain Joeโs announcement of โFISH!โ and the action that followed was exciting! Such youthful energy! We felt were were in excellent, expert hands, and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Plus we canโt wait to eat the fish! Everything exceeded our expectations. Weโd definitely do it all again!
My first time ever on a Charterd fishing trip.ย The weather was perfect.ย Capt Joe was very knowlegable about fishing in that area.ย He is passionate about all kinds of fishing in Northern Minnesota waters.ย (He goes fishing on his days off, and all thru the winter season too.) The fishing was OKโฆ...We had at least 10 different strikes at lures.ย Several times the fish hit the lure but the fish did not get hooked, and that happens.ย A couple of times the person reeling in the fish lost the fish.ย 4 times we landed a fish. (see pictures).ย The trip was made great by the people that I was with.ย Great memories forever.

Captain Joe and Deck Hand Sam were nice young men. I have never been on a charter fish boat trip before so I wasnโt sure what to expect. I would suggest to ask more questions and get more details about the trip as it wasnโt very interactive. They set up all the rods and we did a lot of sitting. When a fish bit, they handed one of us the rod and we did reel it in but thatโs it. I am used to actually fishing with the rod and all in the past. Just wasnโt expecting so much dead time. Overall, great guys and I would recommend them but need more details about the experience.

We were looking to catch walleye, trout and memories; first Lake charter trip ever. We caught walleye, trout, and a King Salmon ๐ and made memories ๐ค Great first trip for my wife, daughter and I. Great young Captain and crew; very impressed with them. Daughter said the crew was awesome ๐ Loved that the catch was cleaned and bagged. All expectations met.
