I recently moved to North Carolina and was asking about fishing in the area, and I found Set ’ n Hooks Guide Service,  I made the appt. and so glad that I went, it was a very plesant experience I enjoyed every moment, Great Captain with lots of experience and knew the exact location where we could get the best catch and did we ever, we caught a lot of big Bass and a catfish. I could not keep them all it was too many. I would definitly be booking this again when my Grandson’s come to visit it was a great experience

Captain Will was outstanding to enjoy a half day on the lake with.  His knowledge and ability/willingness to transfer that knowledge was so impressive.  My son and i caught some fish and that certainly was a blast but what I learned from Captain Will about fishing on Lake Norman was information we will use for years to come.  Thanks Captain , hope to see you again in October!!

My friend and I just wanted a quiet weekend to get away and have some low key fun. Insert Captain Will! Highly knowledgeable and lesiónate about his craft. An absolute delight to speak to and share stories about fishing and life in general. If you’re going to spend a few hours on a few square feet, it helps to get along with the guide; Captain Will will have us coming back to him again.

My son and I had such an amazing time! Captain Will was great with my son , very knowledgeable of the lake and the technology on the boat is out of control. Will definitely do it again.

It was a beautiful day. Captain Will is personable and really cares about giving his customers a good time.  He’s got all the right equipment and his boat is in ship shape.  We caught fish even though it was a hot afternoon trip.  I’d say he was a first rate guide - he rates with the best guides I have had in fishing trips in five states.
