Our tuna fishing trip with Cpt. Ira and his mate Erika was a true pleasure. We hooked a giant bluefin tuna, fought it for 40min. We highly recommend 10 Point Charters if you want to have a genuine tuna experience, learn from a very experienced local and make a lifetime memory. 10 Point Charters presented us with a number of options to keep our little crew happy and then after choosing, they over delivered.  We chose the kid fishing option which presented us with a great bay cruise, some excellent interpretation from Captain Ira, and full service on baiting and pole protocols.  Our kid reeled in something like 20 fish, my partner and I a half dozen or so more, and all the while Captain Ira kept us entertained with his banter about harbor history, local politics, eco practices, and wildlife sustainability.  There was some bonus Wicked Tuna content that caught us by surprise, you may want to do some advance research on that.  We loved our excursion!

Captain Ira and Erika provided an exceptional experience during our ocean adventure. From the moment we stepped aboard, it was evident that we were in capable hands. Not only did he guide us to the best fishing spots, but he also ensured that everyone, including the kids, had an amazing time.

Epic trip!! We brought our family from the west coast especially for tuna fishing and Captain Ira and Erica didn’t disappoint!! We heard all about Wicked Tuna and Captain Ira has some great stories!! We’re a military family and they really treated us like old friends. Erica is an amazing first mate and a great lady. We’re planning on making an annual trip with them next year. Definitely book them!! There were a lot of boats out and we got one of about 3 hookups from all the boats.

This trip was a graduation present for my son. None of us had ever done something like this before. We are so glad that we chose 10 Point Charters.  We were able to catch fish throughout the 10 hour trip and if the catching slowed up at any given moment, Captain Ira knew where to move the boat. Captain Ira and Erica are wonderful people and made us feel at home on their boat. This trip created memories that will certainly last a lifetime.
