It was a beautiful cool morning on the lake. Todd was early and all ready to go when I arrived with my kids. It was a slow start finding fish but we finally found the right spot and actually had a triple catch with myself and 2 kids. Todd was great with the kids and we all had a great time. We mostly caught bass and northern, but there was a crappie and pumpkin seed mixed in as well. Todd allowed us to extend the booking a couple hours since his afternoon was free.  Roughly 25 fish later we called it a day. Definitely recommend booking with Todd, as we will do next year when I plan our next outing!

My father in law is visiting from out of state and I wanted to make sure he had an opportunity to get some fishing in while he was here. Todd took us out for a 3/4 day trip on Lake Minnetonka. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and had all of the equipment we needed to catch lots of fish.

Early in the day my father in law hooked an extremely respectable sized pike that was definitely photo worthy. The rest of our time was spent landing largemouth bass, a rock bass, and a couple of extremely aggressive slab sized sunfish. All in all, we landed 23 fish during the trip.

Todd knows the water like the back of his hand and knows what techniques will get the fish to bite. That’s really the true value of a skilled guide. We were able to focus our time on enjoying the beautiful day and reeling in lots of tough fighting fish while Todd kept us in the right areas, pointed in the right direction, and netting all the fish we were bringing in.

I am super appreciative of the time I got to spend with my father in law making some good memories.

Captain Todd was great the entire trip.  We felt at ease like we were fishing with an old friend.  He entertained us with many fun and interesting stories about fishing experiences and the houses along the lake.  We caught a good number of fish and he was very knowledgeable about where to go to find fish while we were out.  I would definitely recommend him for experienced fishermen and those that are just learning.

Captain Todd has a wealth of knowledge which he shared with me. We immediately began catching tons of pike (something I was really looking forward to) and we had great conversations! As we caught fish he also showed me some beautiful landmarks and the history behind them which I really appreciated. He is prepared for unexpected weather conditions and makes great accommodations. He is truly an expert, and I’m looking forward to my next adventure with him!
