Great trip I will definitely be coming back again we didn’t catch any sharks but captain Matt tried hard and got us on a bunch of big redfish and it was a great night

I can’t say enough about Captain Matt. Crushed it   Was not a guy who waits for a fish.  As active a captain as I have ever witnessed.

Defiant!!

I booked this fishing excursion about six months ago.  The captain contacted me the week prior to the booking to let me know that there weren’t many fish biting.  Since our group does fish at home, we understand that this can happen.  With weather permitting, we wanted to continue with the trip.  The captain let us know that he had taken a job on a tugboat and would be unable to take us out, but he had a replacement to run the charter.  Unfortunately, the captain we had was unfamiliar with the boat and equipment; he was the only staff on board.  There were 6 in our party, but they only provided 2 lines and only brought one box of bait.  The boat was also very slow; it took 2 hours to go out and 2 hours to come back of our 9 hour trip. 

My grandson did catch a sailfish, which he was excited to get up to the boat.  Unfortunately, rather than bringing the fish on board and letting him take a picture before it was released, the captain broke the line and let the sailfish go.
