During my stay at Tofino I booked a half day tour with Big Bite charters because of the sharp price and the good salmon grounds around Ucluet. The weather was great and Laurier told me his clients of the morning tour caught a 25 pound salmon and some halibut. For salmon we fished before the coast and in a few hours time we caught four salmon (10-15 pounds and one too small). Great fights, great gear and great service. Highly recommended!

I booked a 4pm fishing charter with Captain Laurier for my partner’s birthday - we had a such a great experience and would definitely do it again in the future!  We caught both salmon and rockfish - one was a 21lbs salmon (see photo)!  We saw some sea lions and it was nice to see the views around Ucluelet as well from the boat.  Laurier was very nice, professional and great at his job!  Thanks for a great birthday trip, Laurier!

Great trip with Graham and Big Bite Charters. Didn’t know what to expect going with them the first time, but had a great time and caught our limit within a couple hours. Non stop action from the time the first line went in the water!  I highly recommend them and will definitely be back again.

This was our first fishing charter and it did not disappoint! Laurier was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us pull in 2 large halibut and 3 chinook salmon!! It was a special day and we can’t wait to go again!

Went for an afternoon charter in mid April. Got to enjoy the beautiful west coast scenery and despite the choppy day we landed a beauty salmon and had some promising jigs for Lingcod. Our captain was friendly and outgoing and knew where to take us for the best chance of landing what we were after.
