Me and some friends booked this for the anniversary of an event we celebrate every year. Luckily Matt called and told us that if we waited a few days, red snapper season would open, and I’m glad he told us and glad we rescheduled. If we had kept every snapper we caught we’d have limited out in about ten minutes. Luckily we just kept the big ones and wound up with more meat than I think I could eat. My buddy even pulled up a 20 pounder and later a shark. Matt and Tom were great company, incredibly knowledgeable, worked their ***es off to make sure we had a good time, and I’d ride with them every day if I could.
It’s also my understanding that Tom freelances across a few boats. If you hop on another and he’s deckhanding you’re sure to have a good time.

From the drive through the Golden Nugget Casino parking garage to get to the dock slip to extra care Capt Matt took to bag up our filets and carve out the jaws and teeth of our big catch which is Krystal’s biggest fish ever!!! A 4ft long 28lb Black Tip Shark! WOW what an incredible experience and tip. We went on the half day 4 hour trip and is was flawless and perfect. We caught over 50 sharks several doubles. Capt Matt knows what he is doing and not only where to find the fish but with his chumming technic he literally had the sharks circling the boat!! I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER GUIDE IN AREA OTHER THAN MATT PERIOD!!!

I cant thank Captain Matt enough for the amazing experience he provided me and my family. He is a real down to earth kind of guy who is extremely knowledgeable about the waters he sails, and the fish swimming below. Even though we aren’t the most skilled fishermen, he was extremely patient with us and always willing to jump in and help. Without his expertise I doubt we would have caught as much as we did! Now I can officially check off ‘catch a shark’ from my bucket list! (I cannot stress enough that you should NOT miss this!)

Great day of fishing on a spur of the moment fishing trip with my boys . Matt’s a great guy and I am glad we had the opportunity to support a vet .
