Casey and his crew are fantastic. Very knowledgeable, informative, patient, with a pleasant and positive demeanor. Though boat is a bit older, it’s in great shape and has been well maintained and well equipped. I was a bit nervous about the age when booking, but once I saw the boat, that was a non issue—it’s a great boat. One of ours was sea sick the entire time, but that was most likely because of tequila the previous night—not because of the boat.

Plenty of food and non-alcoholic drinks were provided to last all day with good variety in offerings. The fresh cut fruit was a pleasant surprise. 

We bagged a good size dorado and tore up the sierras.  Unfortunately never got any marlin bites, but so it goes. They loaded everything onto a cart and took it to a processor in the marina for us.  Processor had it all individually filleted, portioned, and vacuum sealed by the next afternoon.  Took home 35 pounds of meat and the processing was not expensive at all: well worth the money.  Processor packed all into a cooler box and sealed it up for the flight home.  I had our hotel store it in the freezer until our flight out. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. 

I’ll certainly be booking the Picudo next time I’m in Cabo.

Weve fished extensively in Florida so were very familiar with offshore fishing and wanted to do Cabo fishing the right way….We selected Captain Casey and Picudo because of his extensive experience fishing the waters of Cabo. Communication before and leading up to the charter was excellent. We were able to drop off some refreshments the day before our charter, Cpt Casey also asked for any special requests and went shopping special for us. The Picudo is a very solid and seaworthy twin engine boat and you could tell its all about serious fishing, this is what we were looking for. Fishing day we left the pier early, got our fresh bait and headed out with his local crew. Immediately we could tell that they all knew exactly what they were doing- all bait was hand rigged and we started fishing immediately. We had 3 Dorado in the boat before sunrise! They knew all the spots and techniques fishing for Marlin, Mackeral, Wahoo, etc. We saw tons of whales and marlin jumping as well. We ate the best Sashimi ever right there on the boat after the crew prepared the Dorado in a manner learned by the Japanese. On the way back we had a Sea Lion jump up on the swim platform to enjoy the leftover bait only feet from us. It was awesome. Highy recommended for the entire family- comfortable and professional.  This is the only boat well book in Cabo from now on!

We had a great half day trip on the water! Caught a huge marlin and had a fantastic time! Would highly recommend!

Second time out with Capt Casey, Jorge and Pauly, wow what a day. Hooked three marlin, landed 1, 15 Dorado, 1 sailfish and a spearfish on but lost. 3 of the 4 people I brought had never fished for big game fish. The boat and crew made everyone’s trip memorable.

Captain Casey and his crew never disappoint!  This was our 4th time with Picudo as we did two days back to back.  We caught a lot of Dorado both days and ended with a nice Marlin!  We got close to a pod of whales and had the dolphins swimming along side our boat.  Captain Casey speaks English fluently so we can always communicate easily.  Every time we book with Picudo, we feel like we get a once in a lifetime experience!
