It was perfect. He knew all the best spots and bait to use . Super easy . Caught 8 fish within the first 30 mins . It was awesome. Had a great time . Highly recommend
Captain Louis put us on em. Morning started a little slow, but we stayed persistent and landed some monsters. Really great guy and he takes care of everything for you. 10/10!
The day started by Carlos netting tuna for bait. It took a little while for Carlos to net the bait but he added extra time fishing to make up for the time we spent netting tuna for bait. Carlos took us to a great spot where my daughters landed 12 fish. Most were in the 10 to 15lb range. We had more than 50 bites and fought several that got off while they were fighting to get them landed. The highlight of the trip was when my daughter hooked a tarpon that was definitely in excess of 100lbs. She fought it for several minutes and had it to the boat but it broke the leader line as we were trying land it at the boat. We had an excellent trip and would highly recommend Bayside Charters 2 and Carlos as your fishing guide.

The weather and water conditions was perfect for inshore fishing. We made bait easily and went straight for the tarpon. We landed 5 from 8 to 25lbs. The action was great. Tarpon all around and eager to bite. Capt. Frankie knew where to go and was able to teach the newbies how to land their fish.
We took some time to head out to the mouth of the bay and do some trolling and sight seeing of the coast line with the fort. We hooked up on some yellowtail snapper.
The boat was made for fishing. Center console with lots of walk-about room and stable platform. 4 people and the captain. And we didnโt have any problems with lines or fishing over each other. Live bait tank is a plus.
It was a great day of fishing and highly recommend it if you want to check that tarpon off your list.
