We are a family of 4, with 2 boys, 11 and 16. Augusto and Victor were absolutely fantastic. From the moment we left the pier they had 5 lines in the water working hard changing lures adding bait to try and get us fish. Nothing was hitting, but fortunately through their hard work we ended up with both boys catching Mahi Mahi, which was the goal!!
Thanks again to Victor and Augusto for their hard work. The smiles on our son’s faces made it worth it.

Highly recommend the Grand Slam and their crew. Hard working,clean boat, made a slow day of fishing fun for our family!  Thank you.

Can’t say enough about the Captain and Crew of the Grand Slam.  We started the day trolling for mahi mahi and as soon as we found the patches of sargassum we started catching Mahi and it never really slowed down.  While not every day is like this, the captain and crew were experienced and knew how to make sure my kids were able to make the most of it.  In all we had 12 mahi and 1 barracuda and could have caught twice that but we wanted to snorkle.  We snotkled some great reefs while one of the mates showed us around before returning to the boat to make it back to our cruise ship in time.  I would definitely recommend these guys, but as with everywhere, always suggest 6hrs or more.  The 4 hour trips are never enough time.

Great experience.  Started a little slow, but after an hour or so, Victor and Augusto began putting us on fish.  They continuously worked the lines and spotted where fish were along with showing us what they were looking at.  We had to 40 plus pound Mahi that put on a display along with 3 other smaller Mahi and a blacking tuna.  The hotel grilled one of the tuna fillets for lunch and are awaiting Mahi for dinner.  This was the first trip with these guys and will definitely be more.  Picked us up at the hotel pier a few minutes early and began fishing al.ost immediately.  We had a little chop but the crew did the best they could with it amd supplied a memorable and fantastic day.  I live on the texas coast and fish often.  Thes guys did a great job and are highly recommended.

Day fishing trip Migel, Agusto and captain Victor. We had our family of 7 go out at 7a.m. for eight hours and had a blast. Very hard working and friendly crew that got is into the fish. They had yummy fruit and sandwiches with lots of water pop and beer. They picked us up from our hotels dock and filet our fish which we ate for dinner that night.  They patiently showed me how to bait the hook. The were very accommodations and fun to hang out with. Workable head on the boat. Will do it again sometime and we highly recommend them.
