We had an incredible experience with Captain Julius!ย He picked us up by boat directly from our hotel and could not have made it easier.ย Our 15 year old was โhopingโ to catch a fish, but of course thetas never a guarantee and we had no expectations.ย That said, we caught two barracudas and two (20 lb.) wahoo!!!ย Captain Julius provided everything we needed.ย He was so knowledgeable about fishing and the island in general.ย He is born and raised in Grand Cayman and was able to point out unique spots while we fished.ย He spotted two giant sea turtles mating and stopped for a bit so we could jump in and try to swim closer to them.ย It was amazingโฆthese turtles were nearly 400lbs.!ย After we caught our fish he took us to Cheeseburger Reef off Georgetown.ย We saw a giant tarpon and tons of other beautiful fish.ย I would recommend Reelistik Charter to anyone looking for an intimate fishing/snorkeling experience in Grand Cayman.ย It was the highlight of our trip! I canโt say enough about our day with Captain Julz. We had a beautiful day out on the water with him. After 45 minutes of trolling, we hooked not one, not two, but THREE wahoo!! Reels were spinning, and we were over the moon happy. Julz was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island and history of the caymans. He really put a ton of effort in trying to make the best out of our trip. At the end, he even put together a photo shoot of my fiancรฉ and I to ensure we got the perfect shot before we left. Pickup to and from our hotel made everything so seamless too! Wish we could have gone out twice during our trip, but he was all booked out. We will use him every time we come back to the Caymans!!! Highly recommend!

We had a great time fishing with Capt Juliusโs team Capt Adrian and Capt Adroy. They were super patient with our children and took the time to show them each fish and teach them something about them .
They offered water and gatorade and even shared some of their homemade fried fish.
You can walk to the Lobster Pot from the cruise port and along the way is a Convience Store/Liquor Store so you can pick up snack and drinks.

Setting up this fishing trip was a breeze. Julz was communicative, punctual, and friendly. His boat is meticulously maintained, and was comfortable. My boys enjoyed this experience, and while they didnโt reel in the giant fish they were fantasizing about, they certainly enjoyed having the experience, and Julz was very proactive in setting them up for the best catch possible. Had such a great trip with Capt Julius on our half day trip in Grand Caymen. He was on time, professional and made sure we where all having a great trip even part of the family that where not fishing but just coming out with us for a great experience. Will Definitely be going out again with him next time we are down!!
