We had an excellent trip. Captain James put us right on top of the redfish first thing in the morning. We caught our limit within an hour. Went out further to try and get some snapper. No luck on snapper but we caught some catfish and sharks. Finished off the day catching and releasing more redfish. Overall we caught about 30 redfish between 20 and 30 lbs. Captain James was very personable, had great music and put us on some great fishing.

I highly recommend Oilfield Outkasts and specifically the Revelry, Captain Aaron and First Mate Hunter!

In my experience, charter outfits can be very professional and well suited to experienced anglers, or they can be family friendly and well suited to mixed aged groups and those with less experience. Many don’t pull off both of those equally well, but Oilfield Outkasts and (Captain Aaron specifically) most definitely do.

He and Hunter worked hard both to get us on fish (and we limited out on reds) as well as providing friendly, professional instruction to those less experienced (which included folks in their 50’s as well as two teens). Our mixed group felt welcomed like family, and thoroughly enjoyed the fishing, atmosphere and the crew (both Captain Aaron and his First Mate Hunter in our case).

I would just as easily recommend these folks for anybody looking for specific species and wanting a very serious trip. Captain Aaron (and Outfield Outkasts in general) know these waters very well and take time to find out exactly what your group is looking for. They don’t hesitate to move the boat when necessary or spend a little extra time on the water to get you on fish (certainly true for us).

At the end of the trip, the Outkasts made sure we got any pictures we wanted, and quickly cleaned our haul for the cooler. Special thanks to the folks running the Bridge Bait Shop the Outkasts run out of as well; they too are friendly and professional, and the shop itself is a great atmosphere with live music, beverages and food.

Finally, we also had interaction with quite a few other team members of the Outkasts, and every single one was friendly and professional. Not just folks you want to fish with, but the kind you want to have a beer with and get to know. Thanks for a great trip (nothing better for this Uncle than the smiles and stories told by a niece and nephew new to fishing….we will be back)!!

It took a bit for us to get on the reds but Captain James and deck hand Savana worked hard to get is on the fish. Definitely looking forward to the next time I am able to go on another trip with Captain James and the Revelry. Was truly a great experience. Thank you for giving us a great trip.

We were on the fish within 25 minutes of leaving the dock. We immediately started catching big sharks. We threw a lot back because they were the wrong species. Got our limit on black-tips. Then went to catch some big Red Drum. Threw back as many as we kept. The only time we weren’t catching was when we moved and that was going out, 10 minute from shark to Drum and going back in. Captain Marshall is fantastic. Great trip. More than met our expectations!

The crew worked tirelessly to put us on fish and we came home with a box full. They were fun and carefree while also being professional simultaneously. We had multiple double and triple hookups and landed most of the fish. The gaff work by the crew was nearly flawless. Aaron and Jamie can flat out effin fish, man. And you can tell they love it. They’re not there just for a paycheck. We will definitely be back.
