Captain Jim is the man.  You can’t go wrong picking him as your guide.  He’s friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, funny, and patient.  He went above and beyond for us.

Managed to catch fish almost the entire time even with the wind blowing 18+ mph.  We had a great time, plus we have enough fish for a great meal.

My son and I came from Ohio to do a two day trip with Capt Jim. First day on his 22 Panga fishing the cuts for whatever swims. Caught 50+ fish big trout,
3 different kinds of snappers, jacks, and these crazy jumping ladyfish. He had us on fish all day.
Day 2 on the Hewes skiff he poled us through the backcountry for 7 hours of sight fishing.  Unbelievable!
He’s got an incredible eye for the water, not just for the fish but the plant life and other aquatic oddities. Pointing out the turtles and mollusks. It’s likes a nature channel show with incredible fishing.  And fish we did .  Snappers, tarpon, awesome sharks, and a rare few redfish.  Caught another 50+ on day two. His boats are meticulously clean with quiet high powered motors, his gear is top quality with fresh line and every lure and rig there is.
I’ve fished all over the world with over 200 guides.
Capt Jim is in my top ten.
