It was a great day with a big marlin on the hook and the staff was great would do it again for sure.

Booked 6 hr trip 2/11/19 seas a little rough but still managed to land 5 fish . Saw two pods of whales, and many flying fish. Captain Tito and first mate Calvin did wonders given the 6+ waves.

Very good day of fishing! Literally caught so many fish that I told the 1st mate that they were wearing us out. Very nice crew, stayed on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely go again.

We had booked Marlin Fever because of all of the good reviews related to Capt. Anthony Perez, but we had to postpone our original date due to rough seas.

I was led to believe that we would be fishing with the same boat and crew during the entire rescheduling, even the morning of our trip. After waiting 30 min on the dock for Marlin Fever to arrive, Capt. Perez texted me, or someone from the company pretending to be Perez, saying they were “on their way”. Then a young guy working for the charter company arrived and told us that we were fishing with a different boat with a less experienced captain. Waiting to tell us until we were standing on the dock was clearly done to prevent us from cancelling our trip and is bad business. Any angler knows that having a skilled and experienced captain is the most important element of a successful day fishing.

The bait-and-switch that Atlantida Punta Cana- Marlin Fever used on us left a very bad taste in my mouth. The next time I charter a boat in Punta Cana, it will be with a different outfit. If you decide to book with this company, confirm that you are fishing with the captain that is advertised on the Fishing Booker app, don’t assume they will be forthcoming.

We caught a couple barracuda during our 6 hr charter. Wish we could have hooked some dorado, wahoo, or marlin but we couldn’t make it happen. The crew were good guys and did their best to put us on the fish.

Capitan and crew were very nice. Had to abort trip 1/2 way thru. Seas were far too rough in a small boat. Capitan could have been more upfront about it.
