We had a a Fantastic time with Captain Niles. The ocean was shut down because of a storm and we were still able to go fishing in the bay. It was so relaxing and very enjoyable. Thank you so much we had a great time. Love your stories, professionalism, knowledge, and your positivity.  We will make reservations with you again next year for sure.  ❤️ Mike said he knows a few more new skills now. Ha ha.

Fished for black rockfish but also hooked a couple of other species including lingcod and Cabezon.  We also went crabbing as part of the trip and got eight nice sized crab.  Captain Greg was very knowledgable and experienced in order to put us on the spot where we would have the most success and it worked, we all caught our limit.  He was also very understanding and patient with us, especially with my thirty year old son who is autistic.  He went out of his way in order to make it a fun and safe experience for all of us.

Went above and beyond our expectations, went with my 8 year old daughter and he was so patient and kind answering all of our questions and telling us exactly how the water worked/about the fish ect. Super informative, fun and professional!

Capt knew exactly where to fish.  Was patient with this bass fisher.  Put us in good locations for our casts. Lots of hits and finally put one in the net.  I’ve was awesome and if I was here longer I’d book again.

I had planned an ocean salmon fishing trip for November 2021 in Newport, but by then the Salmon had moved up river so Captain Mike switched me over to the River drift trip instead. It was late in the season, so we only caught a handful of fish, and with the restrictions on Coho, we didn’t keep any.  However, the trip was great fun.  Mike is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the fishery and the habits of spawning salmon.  He should get an honorary PHD from the state of Oregon.  He put us in the right spots to cast and we had many-many strikes, but its hard to hook ‘em when the fish are only interested in one thing…Mating.  Planning on returning in July for ocean salmon runs, will definitely book again with Mike.
