We booked the half day trip in the early morning. Took off at 6 o clock. Equipment was in good shape. We had bad luck losing 4 (!) fish during the drill but Patrice and his deckie kept on pushing for success and so we finally landed a 67cm Yellowfin Tuna. Great experience, highly recommendedโฆ.
This was an absolutely superb trip.ย It started slowly but once it was clear there was nothing at the first fish aggregrating device we moved to another one.ย Lost a marlin on the way and then has a skipjack tuna before running into the dorados.ย Didnโt actually hook one myself but that was probably because I spent most of the time reeling in the ones the mate had hooked. They were not huge (up to about 6kgs) but it was FUN!ย Nice 15kg bonito on the way home.ย This is ideal for the inexperienced, not so inexperienced or even expert game fisherman given the marlin season has not really started.ย The boat holds 8 but on a choppy day 4 would be enough.ย The skipper Pat was excellent and from when I booked the trip to getting off the boat everything went really well and all communications were superb.ย I would use Baracuda again if I can back to Mauritius or managed to find a spare day on this trip.ย I donโt think Iโve had a better value for money trip anywhere else in the world,ย even in my own boat!

After all most 5 houers a bite from a nice strong Baracuda. Nice trip with very professional captain and nice crew.
Thank you for your infos about Switzerland, unfortunately the sea was quite bad, but we finally made a nice catch,I wish you a healthy and happy 2020.
Captain and deckie friendly people, Very experienced, we caught a large needle fish, and lost two, early in the morning, The crew worked to catch more the fish were not biting today. Very impressed with the equipment which is always good to see, Great value.
