Great trip, The only part of it that I was not happy about was when they brought out dull knives to clean the fish we caught. Seems that is how they get to keep them.
Great boat and crew ! Nice MahiMahi and Wahoo Almost had a 300 lbs Marlyn ! Do it itโs worth it !
Thanks for the review sir, it was a great trip! I am delighted you enjoyed your trip.
See you next time.
Thank you, Capt. Craig

Was an amazing a day crew and captain where very friendly and made the trip a very good day out
Felt like we were on a fishing trip to feed the indigenous people of Jamaica on our dime. We started trolling as soon as we left port the captain knowing damn well the trophy fish we were after were 15-20 miles away going trolling speed to get there and back eating up our time to fish the good waters. Only food and beverages provided were some small bags of chips water and a 12 pack of skunked red stripe. We couldnโt take pictures of the fish we did catch when we brought them to the boat while they had there peak colors we basically did this trip for bragging rights and to eat fresh caught fish from the Caribbean having to pay extra to have one cooked they tried to change us for 10 people to have the mahi cooked when only 2 in our party eat fish out of the 4 of us one has an allergy to it and the other doesnโt care for it. The captain kept most of the mahi and the whole rainbow jumper they kept calling a salmon. I wouldnโt recommend this charter to anyone do to our poor experience

Firstly, I must inform you that you are very rude re โfeeding the Indigenous people of Jamaica on your dimeโ.
You failed to communicate your intention to do Deep Drop fishing instead of Trolling. Trolling is the method we use when targeting big game fish, no one can predicate how many miles out you need to go to catch a fish but we exhaust all possible options to ensure we catch a fish for our guest - and in this case a big game fish since we went Trolling.
On the morning of the charter, I found a seaweed line which I followed not more than 12 miles out and we caught a nice Mahi Mahi and a Rainbow Jumper which is, FYI a species of salmonidae.
To address what you said regarding paying extra for the fish to be cooked and the captain keeping most of the Mahi Mahi and the Rainbow Jumper. Reel Magic does that offer catch and dine however, the Yacht Club where our boat is docked offers this service at a cost of US$15 per serving, to be prepared in any style desired with a side order. I informed you of this option which you accepted. I fillet the Mahi Mahi and gave you to select the portion you want to be cooked, which you did. Was I to discard of the remaining portion that you left and could not bring back to your Hotel? As most hotels does not prepare fish that they did not provide for their guests.
As it relates to taking pics of the fish in its bright color when itโs just caught; that was not possible as the fish had the hook in its mouth which can be dangerous to both crew and guests hence, the reason we put it in the fish box as it came on the boat.
In the trip package details on Fishing Booker, it lists that we provide โbeverages and light snacksโ, therefore, itโs unclear why you made such sly, petty remarks concerning the refreshments. Furthermore, you cannot deplete the large quantity of refreshments we have on the boat. I must point out that your party did not finish the snacks that were allotted to them and if they did, more would have been allotted.ย As it relates to the beers, we do not fill the igloo with all the beers, we fill with a certain amount based on the number in party and replenish when needed.
Over the years, it is my aim to catch fish and provide excellent service to my guests and your trip was no exception!
Capt. Craig
