We had another company cancel on us last minute, but it was in our favor because Captain Ritchie is fantastic!! We have 5 and 3 year old boys and Ritchie was great with them! We caught a bunch of bait fish which were fun and a perfect size for the boys. They were excited to see that we used the fish they caught to land a black tip shark! It was a blast fighting to reel in the shark, and the boys enjoyed the show. Hands down a great experience!

Our fishing was just so so GREAT!! Caught mackerel mainly, and also a pompano and chub. We have pretty much nonstop action for a coupla hours. Had a delicious dinner, the grilled mackerel was delicious and different than we expected.
Captain Richie was super, very knowledgeable and friendly! Without any hesitation, we would go out with him again and highly recommend him.

This was a bucket list trip.. Thanks to Captain Ritchie there wasn’t ANY disappointment… This guy is the real deal if you want a chance at catching Shark.. We caught a bunch of Spanish Mackerel and 5 Shark’s 2 black tip , 2 spinners and 1 black nose. Released 3 back. I’ve been on a lot of guided trips and this one is hands down the very best and we will be back.. Thanks again Captain (Shark Whisperer) Johnny and Jennifer…

Richie is known around town as The Shark Whisperer and he definitely lived up to his name!! We decided to surpass small fish and go straight for the sharks. Within the first 30 minutes, we had caught 2 blacktip sharks!! He knew exactly what to look for in the water to find the sharks and made sure we didn’t go home without one! We will absolutely be fishing with Richie again when we go back to Orange Beach!!

They don’t call Captain Richard the Shark Whisperer for nothing. He had us on sharks within just a few casts out. How fun it was to watch my son reel in a good sized Blackfin. He was very attentive to my son & I, extremely knowledgeable about fishing in the Gulf & had some interesting facts about sharks. This truly was an adventure of a lifetime & I highly recommend booking with Captain Richard. You will not be disappointed.
