Overall the fishing and experience were great. Everyone was very helpful and we had a blast for my first time deep sea fishing. But I will say that i was kind of upset at the fact that i had paid $350 for 2 people and 4 hours to be told when we got there that we were the only ones and it was going to cost more if we wanted to go for longer than 2 hours. I completely get that everyone needs to make a living but I donโt think that when we book for a certain price, others not putting down a deposit as well as being no shows, should mean we have to pay more. It was $157 on top of the $350 I had paid in advance and the captain advised that a 20% cash tip was expected at the end of the trip. We had definitely already planned to tip but hearing him say that just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. While fishing we only caught bate fish which was was no oneโs fault and it was a blast catching them but for the extra $187 ($157 for fishing $30 more for the 20% tip) and no fish to take home I was just bummed. They truly are great people and give you a great time I just encourage others to make sure their trip will be full and other people have put down deposits.
