We had a great day with Captain Chris. Such a great guy and really showed us a great time!
Thanks for coming Cory,Glad everyone had a good time.It was my pleasure meeting you.Enjoy the rest of your stay in Jamaica.
Had a great time sailing with Captain Christopherโฆsnorkelling was excellent and the Captain was very personable and knowledgeable. Toured a beautiful lagoon and did some fishingโฆno fish but we were mainly interested in the sailing and we werenโt disappointed! Would recommend this tripโฆthanks Christopher and it was great meeting you!
It was great having you guys aboard ,Timothy. It was my pleasure showing you around and talking with you.Enjoy the rest of your stay in Jamaica and have a safe flight home. Thanks for your feed back also.
The Captain went out after navigating through rough waters while repeatedly saying โthis is bad, this is really badโ. Rather than turning around and taking us to shore safely he continued to go out to deeper waters where the swells were up to 12ft high. We tipped so far sideways more times than I can count. I truly was scared for our lives. As for crew, he had none. He had my Aunt holding onto a rope to keep it from swinging back and forth. Then had my uncle re-tie the same rope to hold it in place. He then had my Aunt working a separate rope for the sail. We were told to help watch for fishing traps so we donโt get caught up in them, we had to keep an eye out because the captain โcanโt see well long distanceโ. The boat had no where to sit to reel in the type of fish we may have caught if the waters werenโt so rough. There was a small area with a solar panel against your back for the deeper reel, and were told to use a docking balloon to sit on if we caught a fish off the second reel, if youโre asking if there were really only two reels for 6 people to use.. we had 4 people on board. The deck itself was clean, considering itโs a boat. Very crowded though, not a lot of places to hold onto while stepping over things. The cabin however, it was very obvious he lived on the boat, which is fine. But keep it clean for paying customers. We were handed one (over the head life vest) with 4 passengers on board, and never told where additional life vest were. It was a horrifying experience. We went out for my momโs bday. The captain was reckless, more worried about the money than passenger safety (out of the 595 we gave him before he pulled the anchor up, we were given 150 โrefundโ). My mom, who loves fishing, never wants to go on another boat to fish. We never should have been taken out on the water. Once he saw how rough the sea was in the canal that we had to pass through he shouldโve turned us around and taken us back to shore. The resort we are staying at was appalled we were taken on the water, stating they had to cancel all their water activities due to high winds and they cancelled theirs the day prior..it was a thrilling experience in all the wrong ways. It honestly felt like being on a rollercoaster without a seatbelt.. we spent 3 hours holding on for dear life. We absolutely do not recommend this charter.

You are not being truthful. You were all given a safety briefing before leaving.I saw where your mother was not a water lover and I provided her with a lifejacket, and asked if anyone else needed and you all said no.She eventually took it off .I always check weather from 3 different internet sources. All were showing winds from from the east 10-15 knots ,seas 3 ft Which is the norm for this season. We leave from a calm channel thru a narrow channel thru a reef to go to the open ocean to start fishing. At 8 am there was no wind and some waves.I mentioned to you all that the wind may pick up in a few hours and could make entry back thru the reef to dangerous,so instead we would have go to the east where the large ships enter. To do this I would have to continue for 6 miles to the east .Your uncle was still fishing off the rear deck. You obviously are acostom to fishing or boating in calm lakes so to you itโs frightening. You are misleading other people who may want to do this adventure by saying Iโm reckless and my vessel is crowded with unnecessary stuff. The stuff you deem junk is life saving equipment such as man overboard pole and floatation ring. You knew that this was not a sport fishing vessel so there wouldnโt be a fighting chair for all of you This is my summary ,you were expecting a beautiful day of flat seas, and itโs not my fault that the weather changed so rapidly.I agreed to refund the $150 you asked ,took you back safely. Now you decide to tell your deliberate twisted version of the story to deter others who may want to do this activity.Im sorry you all were afraid ,but the lesson you may have learned is that nature is often unpredictable. If you are nervous itโs best to go fishing near shore in a quiet lake.
