Deckhands were hardworking and a pleasure to talk to.ย Captain didnโt interact with anyone.ย Advertises using live bait.ย There is no live well and the bait was very frozen. Boat is described as rusticโฆ there are exposed wires throughout the cabin, no AC as advertised and questionable safety equipment make me wonder if this vessel could pass a safety inspection.ย It floats and gets out to the fishing grounds, but she could use some work to mirror the ad.ย
I would recommend doing a walk through of the boat before you are underway.ย Look at the condition of the boat, ask questions, be sure to get a briefing and look at safety equipment.ย If you are comfortable, then go have a great time!
