Water was like glass which we didn’t expect for such a big lake! Just beautiful with blooming wildflowers and grasses, entertaining birds and we watched an eagle catch his own fish. Captain Jay was full of knowledge about everything we saw but especially the fishing!!!! My husband and I each caught our personal best in size with the biggest at 8pounds-9!!! Captain took us to lots of hot spots and kept us busy using shiners only which were fun and effective! Had so much fun we went back for a second day which again exceeded expectations! Thank you Captain Jay for a fabulous fishing experience!🎣😎

2 of us were in town for a conference and booked 5 hours with Captain Jay with AJ’s Bass guides. Jay was simply amazing!!!! He gave us clear directions; he met us at the appointed time with the boat in the water with our bait and drinks and ready to roll. We had a fantastic 4 hours on lake Toho. Between the 2 of us we caught at least 13 bass, with the largest being about 4 pounds. Jay handled everything, offered assistance and guidance where needed. Jay made this an excellent day and worth every penny. I would highly recommend AJ Bass Guides and particularly captain Jay!

Booked this trip for my 10 and 12 year old boys, hoping they would catch maybe 4 fish which they would have been thrilled with. Not only did we learn a new style of fishing that we are taking home to our local lakes, but we caught 33 fish! Far exceeded my hopes and we’ll worth the money for the memories we all three will have. Thanks, AJ!
AJ is knowledgeable and drove us straight to the fish. We were luck that the fishing has been good the last few days, and it didn’t disappoint today. Total of 50 fish landed in a 2.5 hour trip! 48 Bass with the biggest being almost 5lb, a chain pickerel and a monster catfish over 10lbs. Most caught on live baits but the action was so good, when we ran out we switched to lures and they just kept coming. Highly recommend this trip to anyone in the area. We will be back :)
Best bass fishing experience of my life !! AJ is the best guide you could ask for !! He is so knowledgeable and so patient with his clients it was just a experience that I never expected I would suggest going out with AJ to catch bass anytime!! Can’t wait to book another trip with AJ for more bass fishing to try and top what he already did for us !!
