Captain Tony is a true professional at his craft! Extremely friendly,ย hardworking, and knowledgeable. We had a blast both in fishing and general conversation.
We set-up a Full Day fishing trip with Captain Tony Gonzalez for Wednesday, 4/04/2018, but actually went out on Thursday, 4/05/2018 due to bad weather on Wednesday (high winds = >25 mph under Red Flag conditions).ย Capt Tony was very flexible and accommodating with the schedule and the trip.ย His boat & motor was very reliable, as it started with no issues and ran smooth.ย He provided all of the fishing rod & reels and bait.ย Captain Tony was very friendly and handled pretty much everything (such as baiting our hooks, netting the fish and removed the fish we caught from the hooks then into the ice chest - or back into the water).ย He took us to several different spots, as we caught & kept the above pictured fish.ย Obviously, we caught a lot more fish but were undersized thus released back to the water to catch another day!!ย The smallest speckled trout pictured was 15-1/2โ long with most of the other trout measuring 20-23โ (or about 5 lbs each).ย The redfish was 25โ long and black drum about the same size.ย We started fishing for more redfish but was cut short by a heavy rainfall event in the early afternoon, so we called it a trip.ย Captain Tony filleted these fish for us and put in plastic bags ready for our freezer.ย This was a great trip, a great Captain and person to fish with at any time!ย He is highly recommended if you are ever looking for a fishing trip!!

Most experienced guide I ever used, my kids enjoyed there the next day also. He definitely loves to fish!
All I can say is Capt. Tony knows where the fish are! He took the three of us out on the Bay and we all were able to catch our limit of Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout.ย We threw as many back due to them being undersized (but not by much).ย Yes- the fishing is great in late November! Tonyโs boat was clean and he provided all of the gear we need to catch fish. He took great care of us and when our trip was over, he expertly cleaned/filleted our catch. Not only will I recommend him to my friends and family, I plan to re-book with him on my next trip to the shore.

Caught a lot of fish, the photo is the ones we kept. Excellent Captain and we will plan to see him again
