We departed at 8am and returned around 3pm. We tried to catch “the big one”, but it didn’t happen. Captain Tony explained that due to the recent freeze back in February fish are barely returning to the area. However, I truly enjoyed the trill of being out there, casting out the lines, and catching and releasing small fish. In the end, I was able to bring home a black drum and a trout—- dinner at home, in Marble Falls, Texas, was great! In the not-too-distant-future, I plan to go back and fish again with Captain Tony in Rockport. I will even bring with me a couple of good friends to share the experience. God’s blessings, Captain!

Had a great day of fishing with capt Tony. Very knowledgeable of the areas we fished. Constantly caught fish through out the day. Also had some great conversations as well.  Definitely will book capt Tony for my next trip.

Captain Tony Gonzalez is great. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He has the best equipment you can ask for. He is very nice and emphasizes safety. I will definitely be back and enjoy his expertise and conversations. We caught two big red drum ant some trout. I know we could have caught more but Saturday’s are crazy with a lot of people fishing.

We all had a great time fishing with Capt Tony! Caught plenty of fish, more trout than we could count. Even a bull red that put up a really nice fight! Capt Tony is very knowledgeable and always on top of any situation. Multiple fish on at once, no problem. Our crew has been fishing for years and we all still learned something, he’s quick to share pointers and tips and fun stories too. We now have bags of fillets ready to cook. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely call him for next time. Thanks Capt Tony!!!
