Captain Josh is a friendly and excellent fishing guide. My husband and I enjoyed our half-day trip in February, and would highly recommend Reel Knowledge.
My 21 yo son, 23 yo nephew, and I spent four hours fishing with Josh yesterday in the mangroves around Longboat Key. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job putting us on fish in less than ideal conditions. Highly recommend Captain Josh Harris to both new and experienced fisherman.

I took my 26 year old son and 24 year old daughter down to Sarasota for a 7 hour trip on the 11th of July and their expectations along with my own were completely exceeded. My son said, โBest fishing trip I have ever doneโ and my daughter stated, โI want to definitely come back again!โ
Josh knew exactly where to go to start catching fish. He took us to a beautiful spot where we caught all sorts of fish, 10 different species! We even saw manatees and dolphins which made the experience that much better. He was always ready to put bait back on the hooks, told us where to cast for the best chance of landing a bite, showed us how to manipulate the bait to trigger the fish, and netted every single catch.
Josh is an extremely informational Captain who taught us about all the different species of fish we caught and also shared pleasant conversation and laughs with throughout the entire trip. He definitely has not only repeat customers with us but also new friends!

Great 4 hour trip with Captain Josh! Josh was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Josh was persistent with trying to put us on the fish. We fished several different areas around Sarasota and caught several different kinds of fish over the course of our trip! Josh was great with giving pointers and advice. All in all it was a great day and we had lots of fun! Highly recommend Josh & Reel Knowledge Fishing!
