This was my 8 year olds first fishing trip on a boat.ย I was use to it, and my kid (with some dramamine) handled it just fine.ย I like the fact that its only 5 hours because I didnโt know if he was going to be able to handle it.ย We used his small fishing rod and one of their rentals.ย They provided bait and assistance.ย The crew was excellent.ย Very attentive, very friendly.ย Captain Jeffrey was very cool and seems to really enjoy what he does.ย
We caught Sea Robins, Sea bass and bunker.ย Others in the party caught Large Stripped Bass, a stingray and fluke too.ย Overall, it was as outrageous experience.ย We had a blast and I would definitely go again.

First and foremost the crew and Captain Jeff are great along with being very helpful. Before we came aboard the crew set up 14 rods on one side of the boat for us. There was an elderly couple who sat by 2 of the rods and one of the deckmate told them they had to move these are reserved but we said it was ok. It was a smooth experience and the catch was good. Unfortunately 5 people in our party was 10 minutes late and Captain waited for them which was very kind of him. In all a good experience.
I am a young woman fisher who showed up solo for this trip while visiting NYC. I had a good time going on a Tuesday, as the boat wasnโt too busy. I got to hang out with nice people and learned to catch a bunch of blackfish! Captain Jeffrey was respectful and put us on the fish.
Always an amazing time with captain Jeff. Definitely caught some keeper fluke and very good on the porgies highly recommend, always a great time with these guys, amazing hospitality, and just great service Captain Jeff always puts us on the fish. Will definitely be coming back again.
