Had a fantastic week on board the Gavito with Graham and Orlando. They were on time and had the boat ready and waiting for us every morning, had a quick coffee in the harbour and off we went. Done 7 days all in all, a mix of bottom fishing and trawling. We were lucky enough to get around “the point” one day and had a fantastic day pulling over 30 fish out, keeping over 20 as big enough to eat and releasing some to let grow. We lost many leads and rigs on the rocky bottom but Orlando had some pre-made and was making them as we were losing them. Always helping take the fish off and giving us tips. Graham will always tell you the best time to fish on the bottom and even accommodated an early start on two occasions to fit in with the tide. They are both very trustworthy and have a great knowledge of the best areas to fish. We trawled many miles and had Marks on the sonar, tried tempting the fish up but they just didn’t seem interested. They wanted us to catch a tuna/marlin just as much as we did and really put the effort in trying different places, finding feeding signs and changing lures to see if we could tempt one up but they just didn’t want to know. Very frustrating but that’s fishing. No other boats caught whilst we were there and I guess it was just one of those quiet times unfortunately. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gavito and graham to any friends and family as we all still had an amazing time and will be back to catch one of the big ones!!! Thank you

Thank you, it was a pleasure to have you all on board and Orlando and I enjoyed your company. We were sorry we couldn’t get you a big fish but unfortunately they just didn’t want to know. It was a good day bottom fishing and well worth the early 6 am start. We are always pleased to go the extra mile of changing start times to give our customers the best chance possible to catch fish. We look forward to having you back next year.
