Awesome Trip with Ice and John, heaps of action and we got strait into a serious work up and could see yellow fin, mahi mahi and had a marlin take one of our lures.
We managed to take home 5 big skipjack tuna after an epic quadruple hook up!
The boat is awesome and there is a lot of flexibility on which species you wish to target. We chose a mix and spend half the day out deep chasing marlin and mahi mahi and the other half on the reef casting poppers for GT and Spanish mackerel.
The gear is all top of the line, shimano, rapala ect, however it is well used and has seen better days. It would be hard to swallow loosing the fish of a life time due to the tackle failing!
I will definitely book again as the experience was incredible and we caught good fish, however I would say if you had a favourite big game lure, bring it along.

6hr trip= our crew was awesome and knowledable of the area, could see the fish everywhere in the reefs , were looking for big fish thou in the shipping channel but some reason couldnt even get a bite So strange not the norm for this time of season Wish we had some live bait seeing thats what my last 2 prize fish were caught with, reals and line were good, game fish squid lures (ok ) small fish lures all rusted hooks so the baracuda didnt bite neither Weather was good butt maybe the cyclone 2 weeks ago had a impact who knows But we enjoyed the time with the crew so thanks to them this trip was a success Thank You FROM CALI RON AND CHRISTINE

The captain told me that he know that the big fish was on the reef, but that he was told by his boss NOT to go there…to far(obviously didn’t want to burn fuel.) Is it your responsibility to get your customers onto the fish?2 1/2 hours late to pick me up ,then just waste my time bottom fishing for small shit.I paid to troll for gamefish.I have not been so disappointed by a character operator in my life😡😡😡😡😡
Thank you for your feedback Gideon. The captain would be correct, though how he put it to you may not have been conveyed clearly. The 4 hours does take you trolling with chances on Spanish Mackerel which is not a small fish, as well as Giant Trevally. Bottom bashing is also a part of fishing to have a handle on the rods. Bigger fish does come close to the reef however time is the factor.
