I’ve fished numerous charters from Florida to North Carolina, Captain Rick is one of the best! He made me feel comfortable with his timelines, family friendliness, clean boat, well maintained equipment, great attitude, helpful, and knowledgeable!

I wanted to go out on a sport fishing trip. Captain Rick called the night before and said the weather was going to be a little rough. He gave me an option for a refund or tailor the trip to inland; I chose inland. He made sure I knew that fishing could be limited with the rough water, but not impossible. I asked for a chance to go out, but he said it wouldn’t be comfortable and he doesn’t want to risk safety over fun.

Captain Rick didn’t waste time. We left at 7 and dropped lines within the first 15- 20 minutes on the water. The captain pointed out historic spots, recommended places to eat, and made us feel comfortable.

We had fish in the boat before the hour mark. When my boys caught a fish he got just as excited as we did. His driving skills were on point, the boat never felt like it was on rough water. He put us in the right spots and kept fish on the line. Overall it was a great morning on the water.

We were planning a trip for my boyfriends birthday and were worried about booking due to rain and booking last minute (a week prior)  but our fears were put at ease once we set foot on captain Rick’s boat. His friendly demeanor knowledgeable presence made us feel very confident we booked the right charter. As we set out he gave us a brief history and shared key features around us. He was very clear on explaining what we were doing after a short ride to the fishing grounds (right outside the inlet) he baited up our live bait and we began trolling. Within minutes we had out first strike, followed by my boyfriend being able to cross off a full grown Atlantic Sail fish off his bucket list. After that we dodged some rain, hooked back up to trolling and caught another Sail fish for myself!  I was impressed with how much care he took in releasing both fish alive and unharmed. To top our trip off we also got 2 nice eating size king fish. Not only did we get a nice show but also got to take home dinner. Captain Rick fileted and bagged them for us. Would highly recommended him to anyone from beginner to pro in the West Palm Beach area. Thanks again Cap for the awesome time! :)

Captain Phil was awesome, my father and I had a great 4 hour fishing trip! We had a half dozen hits, that didn’t produce, but then we had a double sailfish on, two at the same time! Great day with a very nice and knowledgeable captain. Thank you, Jason

I’ve fished onshore and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico my whole life. I was not disappointed. The boat and gear were in good condition. Captain Rick is a professional and didn’t waste any time. The 4 hour trip was worth the money, considering we could take home a ton of fish.

Captain Rick is awesome! There was a slight miscommunication about the booking process which caused me a lot of confusion but Rick was super patient and quick to respond and we were all good. Essentially, the middle man booking service causes a lot of confusion. However, the day was great and Rick was a lot of fun and a really good coach. I’ve been on a few charters before and Rick was one of the better coaches to help you make sure you get your fish in the boat. Thanks a lot Rick! We’ll definitely do it again if we’re even in Palm Beach again.
