Had a good time and caught plenty of fish
The main issue we had is the simple fact of being able to reschedule a trip to go out in the ocean.ย After returning from our morning excursion which was uneventful to say the least. We heard that we would have been able to go out on the ocean two days later.ย Unfortunately we were not offered that option.ย Nor was there communication to say we would not be able to go out until arrival.ย I would have thought a discount would have been offered at the least. We also understand catching fish is not guaranteed; however, not knowing that we could only fish in the sound was disappointing. In the future, I believe communication prior to our arrival about current conditions and future conditions wouldโve been helpful.

Rich..if you had any problems at all with your trip you should have voiced them at the dock to me when we came in instead of here on a review.If youโre going to post a review at least get your facts straightโฆ.I was not available to fish any other day than the day of your trip as Iโm booked all week. It has been blowing and too rough to fish in the ocean for over a week and every other nearshore charterboat is doing the same thing we did because of it.Today is Wed.and just as we did on your trip Monday,we are fishing in the sound ...with about 8 other nearshore charterboats because of rough conditions in the ocean.Ive been operating out of Oregon inlet fishing center for 38 seasons with wonderful customers 99 percent of the time and most of our trips are a success but for the ones that are not I would expect the customer to voice their concerns to me face to face as itโs obvious that the weather was ย a huge factor in our ability to get you a good catch of fish. I appreciate you fishing with me butโฆIf/when you visit the Outerbanks again and if/when you book a charterboat make sure to not give me a second chance because ย I certainly wouldnโt want you on my rig again with the mentality youโve shown.Best of luck on your next fishing adventure.

My wife, son and some family friends did an 8 hour trip. First mate Russel and capt Bobby put us on fish the entire trip. If you are looking for a couple down to earth guys who can keep you catching fish for 8 hours and enjoy your entire day laughing and joking around but also be extremely knowledgeable and professional, this is your boat and crew!!!
